Christmas Orders and Shipping
Furniss will be closed for the festive break from 3pm on Friday 22nd December 2023 to the 2nd January 2024. Please ensure all orders are placed before Friday 8th December (or within your specified lead times), thank you.
Shipping & Returns
1. Delivery
For UK mainland orders, we aim to despatch your order within 48 hours and deliver within 7 working days.
Orders to mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands and Channel Islands) qualify for free delivery if over £30.00. Please note the flat rate shipping charge is not counted towards the £30.00 order value.
2. Returns
Due to hygiene considerations, we cannot give refunds on products that have been opened — unless the product is faulty. This does not affect your statutory legal rights. In accordance with Distance Selling Regulations, you can return any item to Furniss Of Cornwall Ltd, for a refund or an exchange, as long as it is unused, unopened and returned in the original packaging. You must arrange and pay for the goods to be returned to us at Furniss Of Cornwall Ltd, Unit 11, Druid’s Road, Redruth, Cornwall, TR15 3RH. You can either return items by recorded Royal Mail delivery or use a secure courier service. You will be responsible for these charges. You must do this within 14 days of notifying us of your wish to cancel. If you cancel and return the goods as described above, we will refund the full purchase price, including the original delivery charge, on the condition that you have not used the goods or otherwise handled them so that their value is reduced. If you have handled the goods so as to reduce their value, we may deduct an amount from the refund that is proportionate to this reduction. Refunds are provided within 14 days of our receipt of the returned goods.
3. Your Right to Cancel
If you order over the phone or online you have the legal right to cancel your order. If you choose to cancel, please contact us within 14 days to notify us of your intent to return, preferably by sending an email to info@furniss-foods.co.uk. You must return the goods in the original packaging and in new condition. You must do this within 14 days of notifying us of your wish to cancel.
If you cancel your purchase, you must arrange and pay for the goods to be returned to us as stated in the Returns section.
4. Out of Stock & Replacement of Products
Occasionally, the packaging designs of a Furniss product may be different to that shown on the website. In these circumstances we reserve the right to send you identical products in different packaging.
