17 Aug Furniss becomes a Supporting Sponsor of Cornwall Heritage Trust’s annual calendar competition

With such a rich Cornish heritage ourselves, we are proud to have become a supporting sponsor of Cornwall Heritage Trust’s annual calendar competition. Having recently rebranded our Cornish Scenic range, depicting 9 of our own favourite iconic Cornish scenes, our new partnership with Cornwall Heritage Trust couldn’t have come at a more appropriate time. We just love Cornwall and it’s fabulous scenery so cannot wait to see the winning entries.

Cornwall Heritage Trust welcomes photographers of all ages, with special classes for Under 16s and the Open Class. A different theme is chosen each year to celebrate Cornwall’s heritage, which is interpreted however the photographer chooses. Receiving over 100 entries last year, the task of narrowing down the winners to just 12 is always extremely difficult. With the theme of “Heritage in our Landscape” they anticipate judging of their 2022 entries to be no easier.

The calendars go on sale in September ready for the perfect Christmas present, and we can’t wait to see the finished calendar. Now there’s an idea for the perfect Christmas present, a Cornwall Heritage Trust Calendar and some delicious Furniss biscuits.
